Beyond the joke, She’s the Man is quite literally the unbothered, accidentally trans movie we were trying to make. Some Like It Hot The classic gender swap movie, and an absolute top ten. I refuse to believe there was not at least one gay person working on this movie. Daisies Daisies is a great example of a film about joy, yet was still banned by its home country because that joy was counter to what the government mandated. Easy A Easy A not only solidified the blessing that is Emma Stone’s career, but was also the final breath of the comedies I grew up on. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl The aesthetics and the casually sexy, undeniable gender-swappery of Pirates spoke to something in me that I haven’t been able to shake. Shrek 2 Truly one of the best movies of all time. Nothing tops this, and I will steal from this movie as long as I can make my own. My only regret is not having a musical number as they had on the DVD special features.
